X, Founder/CEO
X is the CEO and Founder of StudentOasis.com. He is committed to improving the lives of all who visit StudentOasis, building a community founded on the ideals of self-expression, freedom, compassion, and wisdom. His goal is to break down barriers internationally, remove obstructions from you reaching your dreams and happiness, and create a place you can have fun.
X graduated Harvard University with honors in June 1993, where he studied economics and Japanese. There he was awarded the John Harvard Scholarship recognizing academic excellence. Professionally, he has held various positions on Wall Street, most recently with a large Wall Street investment bank. Previously, he was an analyst in the M&A department at Prudential Securities, and an analyst in Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s Asset Management Division. He also worked in Canon Sales Company in Tokyo in the summer of 1992, for the CEO of the Systems Integration Department.
He currently lives in New York City and enjoys collecting foreign currency, working out, and anything related to the Internet.
Christen Villamor, Co-Founder/President/Visionary
Ms. Villamor's background and talents include a long and distinguished career in the arts, marketing and personal development movement. She is an actress and member of Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity, she has performed around the world from New York City to Singapore and has appeared in feature films, commercials, radio, prime-time TV and stage. She is a critically acclaimed and award-winning actress. Currently a producer of films, CDs and documentaries, she believes in the power of the arts and entertainment to enrich people's lives and bring people from diverse cultures together.
A former Ph.D. candidate in French literature at the University of California,
Berkeley, where she also received her B.A. and M.A. in French, and a former student of the Sorbonne, she was also awarded a Ford Foundation
grant and studied at Wellesley. She was an assistant research scientist at New York University.
In the corporate world, she has been consistently the top performer in various marketing and sales operations including the department of Program Analysis at CBS. As a writer, motivational speaker, seminar creator and leader and former master coach at Anthony Robbins & Associates, she helps corporations and individuals reach their financial and personal goals.
She is on the Budapest Advisory Committee, which is part of The Sister
City Program of the City of New York, New York City Commission for
the United Nations, Consular Corps and Protocol. She is also a member
of Asian Women in Business (affiliated with the New York Coalition
of 100 Black Women and 100 Hispanic Women.) Christen was a committee
member for the New York City's Pour for the Cure Black Tie Gala benefitting
The Greater New York City affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation.
Wild Kind Productions, Creative Design Team-
Dean Janoff, Richie Williamson, Rick Mordecon
Wild Kind is a digitally based film, video and Multimedia production
company operating in NYC. They have worked extensively in Multimedia
since 1995, but their interest in digital Technology began back in
the 1980's when they began producing digital prints for the publishing
world. Since then they have grown into a self sustaining digital production
company working primarily in the film, video, music and Internet industries.
Their various projects have included producing CD-ROMs for Lifebeat,
The Music Industry Fights Aids and The New England Aquarium. They
are currently working on a Digimentary of the making of LLCool J's
latest album, and last year completed the first Digitally shot, edited
and produced concert film entitled Survival of the Illest, Live from
The Apollo which featured DMX, Method Man, Redman and Foxy Brown.
They are constantly seeking to expand the boundaries of Digital Media.
